If the ad given in national prominent newspapers by Delhi Govt is true then the accusations about media being biased in India is also 100% true. I am pretty against State and Central govts spending too much taxpayers' money on advertisements to promote themselves because that could have been used for the nation's development but Delhi govt coming out with this ad with explanation is well justified since it explains everything explicitly with its repeated contention that they are not to blame for this scam but the central govt whose dept sold onion to Delhi Govt for Rs. 33 per kg and with other overheads like loading, unloading and transportation taken in account the purchase cost goes up to Rs. 40 which was made available to Delhi people at Rs 30 with the help of subsidy from Delhi Govt that of Rs. 10 per Kg. This account given by Delhi govt is self explanatory and rings true to me.
The full page explains adequately that the central Govt. made profit in between not the Delhi Govt.

Even I was taken aback & puzzled a bit to see the way AajTak news channel along with Zee News was conducting a incredible breaking news on onion scam of Delhi govt believing the media must have got clinching evidences in their kitty to run this disturbing story. Like me, it must have disturbed many people across the nation who still strongly vouch for the integrity of Arvind Kejriwal till date. I could not believe my ears that Aap could be part of corrupt practices that was born out of anti-corruption movement in our country. It made me wonder if Arvind Kejriwal has got bad fishes around him who could have been involved in this scam but all my doubts disappeared when I read the full page ad by Delhi Govt. in all the national news papers.

In order to open the eyes of the Delhi voters, Delhi Govt. had all the right to strike back with such expensive advertisement even if it had to doll out a huge sum of Rs. 23 Lacs and 65 thousand on it. Delhi Govt is even entitled to drag the said news channels to Indian court for ruining their image and seek their apologies. I am surprised why can't Central do what Delhi Govt is doing for Delhi people when the food prices are soaring so high these days. Are subsidies meant for business houses only in India?
Should not media be accountable in such cases that is spreading doubts and poisoning the minds of gullible voters of Delhi without fair grounds and substance?
