#BiharElection #NitishKumar #NDA #PmModi
I am of the opinion that he has frittered away the golden opportunity of his life that was given to him by the Indian voters with never-before historic mandate because his focus has been chiefly on the future policies and plans whereas people expected him to tackle present crisis of the country. There are many issues he should have taken care of like black money, inflation, employment, education, health etc. if this defeat doesn't open his eyes then nothing would. Luckily, he still has three & half years to catch up & take some concrete steps for the nation to provide immediate relief to his countrymen for which he had pledged.
In the first place, BJP shouldn't have put PM's prestige on stake in Bihar with the bombardment of over 30 rallies of PM making it a clear battle between PM & Nitish Kumar. Why did BJP put him in the forefront is something I can not digest after Delhi's massive trouncing since with the infamous land ordinance, he has cut his bad tailor-made Ten Lac suit image especially for moneyed people with a permanent tagline of SUIT BOOT KI SARKAR. People judge a leader by his actions not his hollow words.
Especially, after the several issues like that of 10 Lakh suit, land acquisition ordinance, travel by Adani's chopper, relentless foreign visits, he has lost connectivity with middle & poor segment of Indian society. I heard over a dozen helicopters were used in Bihar during elections too this time around.
Furthermore, PM even tried to buy the voters with his one lakh & 65 thousands package in a funniest & dramatic manner not suiting at all to the dignity of PM. He behaved like a necromancer to me than a PM. How is it allowed in the democracy in the first place at the time of elections to influence the minds of the voters? Had there been T.N. Sheshan like officer in Indian Election Commission, would it have been permitted?
With this humiliating defeat, Modi has given another lease of life to Lalu Yadav in Bihar whom people had forgot for good. I am sure voters must have voted for RJD since they were hell-bent & predetermined to support Nitish over Modi who had claimed, had more virtuous DNA profile than Nitish Kumar. Nitish Kumar's win is a golden opportunity for him to outperform now and make all his efforts to jump on to national platform as a new force to be reckoned with.
I had exchanged my views with my close friends that it would be good for the nation if BJP loses in Bihar and I am enthralled to see it happen today. Most likely, it would make PM realize that people in India are not looking for what he is doing presently or planning for future India. If Modi wants to do something for this nation & to make most of his highest position then he must give up on travelling abroad and visit Indian villages that can open his eyes what miseries people are living in !
I have been deeply amazed to see today how perfectly, justice Katju had predicted BJP's defeat long back in his blog which you can read below which has virtually come true.

Modi's Waterloo
The Bihar elections are almost certainly going to be Modi’s Waterloo, after which his fortunes are going to rapidly decline. Let me explain.
In most of India, including Bihar, most people vote on caste and religious lines. The exception is when there is a wave, which cuts through these lines.
PM'S ARROGANCE GETS SHATTERED IN BIHAR...
In 2014, the predictions were being circulated all round in the country that Modi is going to remain PM of India for at least next 20 years and look at where he has reached today. BJP leaders may try to defend Modi for this great loss owning responsibility for it but every body knows the battle was drawn between PM & Nitish.
CM TROUNCES PM...
Nearly as worse as was in Delhi, I can define Bihar assembly's poor electoral results for BJP in multiple ways like it is an explicit defeat of its non-performance, arrogance, overconfidence, unacceptable ideology, pro-rich policies, intolerance, non-secular voices in party and so on.
The scene was entirely different in 2014 after Anna Hazare & his team opened the eyes of the entire nation & created anti-Congress wave pan India. The Indians were tired of the Congress's massive scams that were exposed by CAG at the time when the nation was reeling under colossal corruption, and the voters were looking for new leader to run this country. When Modi's name was announced for PM's candidature, the people literally believed in every word Modi said during his rallies and a series of commitments he was making to the nation to win the General elections.

Probably, he is the first PM of India who had lost the connect with his people so soon and therefore lost his credibility & popularity within the short span of one year. We all know what happened in Delhi after a year or so since people had started disbelieving him altogether though he had put all his might via entire parliament & State Ministers for campaigning for him in order to save his prestige but all his preventive measures went in vain.

LALU WHO GOT ANOTHER LEASE OF POLITICAL LIFE GIVEN GIVEN BY NONE BUT BJP |
