He was in a messy situation for every viewer was looking upon him with eagerness as to what he is going to do. He seemed determined though he was helpless as he did not have full majority for what he wished to do for Delhi people on that dooms day.
As Delhi assembly's proceedings were being aired live, I was glued to my TV set and could feel the same tension & stress around me what Arvind was undergoing in the assembly. The pain in his voice was evident when he delivered his candid speech in the assembly that his party had taken birth to change this nation and he is committed to dismantle the tower of corruption with JANLOKPAL for Delhi residents. It was high time that JANLOKPAL must be given to the Indians that has been denied to them for past four decades.
Later, when he tried to introduce JANLOKPAL for Delhi voters, BJP & Congress rose against the bill and did not even allow him to table it knowing it well that this bill might turn out to be a great headache for them both in the future. Gujarat for over 12 years and Gujarat till today no way looks like as clean as a foreign city he claims to take India to. Mr. Modi may have got awareness
for cleanliness recently or else he would have launched the crusade years back in
Gujarat. Hawala transactions and black money have not yet been curbed in Gujarat. The national cleanliness drive may have been started with serious intent of PM but
his soldiers do not seem to be as concerned about it since they have been
caught red-handed by media bringing junk, spreading it around and then calling media
persons for the photo shoot.
