BJP claims that Mr. Modi has provided a new lustrous status to India in the eyes of the world. He may certainly have lured a few countries for investment in India with his new appealing policies as claimed by him and other central ministers but the ground realities seem pretty far off yet. What happens in India goes to foreign media too.

He may certainly have lured a few countries for investment in India with his new appealing policies as claimed by him and other central ministers but the ground realities seem pretty far off yet. What happens in India goes to foreign media too.
After Mr. Modi came to power, there have been a series of offensive examples of religious intolerance wherein Indian Churches are under constant Attacks. This NEW PICTURE OF INDIA might be something to be proud of for BJP since the churches are under ceaseless assault during its rule but certainly not for the Indians who have always been viewed as tolerant to other religions offering due respect to the minority communities living here.
The recent spurt of repeated attacks on Religious institutions of christian community in MP, Maharashtra, UP and Delhi, has certainly lowered India's image across globe. As the placard suggests befittingly in the picture of protest against such religious violence, "A COMMUNITY DIVIDED IS A NATION DIVIDED." The central govt of India has washed off its hands saying it is the matter of States therefore the Centre is helpless to do anything about it. What really surprises me is that how can this prime issue remain a matter of State when this is ruining India's image internationally. I need not remind you that Mr. Barack Obama had also delivered speech against our religious intolerance in India.

Yesterday, again another church in cantonment area was attacked in Agra . These vandals have shamelessly defaced the statue and wrapped a dog chain around one of the statues of Mother Mary. This has happened barely weeks after the hideous rape of a 70 yrs old nun in West Bengal. This must be stopped immediately or else No body would show up here for investment from other countries that Mr. Modi has been dreaming for a long period.
