RICH INDIAN CULTURE BEING ERODED WITH HIGHLY OBJECTIONABLE VULGAR AD 24X7 ON ALL THE INDIAN CHANNELS

SWIDISH OPEN SEX CULTURE BEING INVADED INTO RICH INDIAN CULTURE...

INDIA IS NOT SWEDEN YET WHERE SEX IS DISCUSSED OPENLY IN ITS SOCIETY...

Every country has its own identity. Sweden is known for its open sex society to the world.



Are we so modern and broad-minded yet to discuss sexual activities openly with our children, sisters, mothers  & grand children in India? Yet, this highly vulgar ad of MANFORCE CONDOM is being thrust upon Indian homes that speaks of sexual actions in its explicit details that is done behind the doors in our society. The target audience is of this ad are the adult young boys and girls & husbands and wives who are living in their homes alone nonetheless it is being blatantly catered 24X7 to every home of this nation on every channel including news channels. Can this be fed to joint families on our soil? Aren't we degrading ourselves to let it air round the clock?

I do agree there must be awareness in our society to the use of condoms but should they allow this open vulgarity to boost its sale.

When I saw this ad for the first time I was horrified to see its vulgar contents & decided to lodge complaint about it to the concerned authorities. Yesterday, I filed a formal complaint with  and got the shock of my life when they informed there is nothing vulgar about this ad but I am determined to take this complaint to the ministry of information and broadcasting. If you do not approve of this filth, do share it with your friends and families RAISING VOICE against this detestable commercial. 



The complaint I wrote to them is as follows:


DEAR SIR,

This is very very offensive. coarse AD lacking refinement and one can not watch this kind of vulgar ad that is so explicit about its meaning. how can you guys allow this kind of filth to be aired in the homes where young kids are watching tv with family members. Have you lost senses that you can not make out what this ad means. Can not you guys find specific times late night for such ultra vulgar ads . What is wrong with this dept? this kind of obscene ad erodes our culture & societal values greatly. Every time I watch it my blood shoots up in anger against all those people responsible to let it air in indian homes. Hope you would take it off immediately. thanks


Read the content of their reply that came to me today:


Dear Mr. Ashok,

Thank you for writing to ASCI. We acknowledge the receipt of your complaint regarding ‘Manforce’ (Tracking Id: 614f65f3de92).

A similar complaint under reference (C.7353) was considered by the Consumer Complaints Council (CCC) at their meeting.

As per their decision, the complaint HAS NOT BEEN UPHELD.
The CCC viewed the TVC and considered the ad agency’s response. The CCC concluded that the TVC was not so obscene as to cause grave or widespread offence with regard to the condom product promoted in the TVC.

We empathize with your concern. However, with regard to your objection on the timing of the advertisement being aired, we suggest you to write to the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting for them to take necessary action.
