GREATEST REWARD OF HONESTY IN INDIA IS DEATH...

NO PROTECTION TO HONEST PEOPLE IN INDIA

HOW MANY MORE HONEST RTI ACTIVISTS ARE TO SACRIFICE THEIR LIVES ON THIS SOIL...

'If you probe against us, this is what you get in return' is the clear message given by corrupt & influential people in India...
GREATEST REWARD OF HONESTY
If you may remember, Rahul Gandhi has repeatedly spoken in his speeches that Congress has given RTI bill to this country and takes great pride for this achievement whenever he gets an opportunity to talk about it. It is also the brutal fact that this country has witnessed a series of ruthless killings of RTI activists all over country whenever these brave people tried to probe into illegal dealings of powerful politically connected people through this right to information act for transparency. It is about time Rahul must confess adding a few more candid words that the Congress has also overlooked the right to protection to RTI activists in India along with this important bill.

Recently, the local land mafia in barbaric retaliation against illegal encroachment probe initiated through RTI queries, openly burnt an honest RTI activist, Chandra Mohan Sharma, to death in his car near Eldeco Crossing in Greater Noida in the early hours of last Friday. In vehement protest against this atrocious injustice, out of all the political outfits only AAP volunteers staged a peaceful candle march from India Gate but surprisingly Delhi cops showing no sympathy towards this killing swung into action & detained the protesters on the poor grounds that AAP members hadn't taken due permission for this march sending clearly an ugly signal that they wouldn't allow anybody take even peaceful & democratic protest in this country as if they too detest the provision of RTI act with which people are exposing illegal activities.

ISN'T THIS COUNTRY MARVELOUS!

Aam Aadmi Party has alleged that police have been reluctant to investigate this killing though they were given enough leads by the victim's family. One thing is significant to note here that Chandramohan had given a written complaint on 29th April, 2014 about the life-threatening calls he had been receiving from the the land mafia but cops did literally nothing to protect his life as though he deserved to die for he had dared to delve into encroachment on the temple land of Kasna village.

Sadly, the cops are giving a different version altogether that it might be a case of accidental fire that has taken his life since the doors were shut. Can you digest a person traveling in his car with doors and windows closed especially when air-conditioning is not working.

The life protection of the citizens merely lies in the advertisement of political parties. Who is supposed to protect these honest whistle blowers?

Only god knows how more blood the Indian government is going to see before it reacts to find some permanent solution to stop these poor killings of RTI activists all over India or it would go on and on until a leader like Arvind Kejriwal comes to power to put an end to it.

No doubt that RTI Act is a powerful tool to expose powerful people but unfortunately the leaders who gave it to the indians are yet to offer due protection to them. How long would these brave people remain like sitting ducks in India? How long would these innocent people have to put their lives on stake to find the truth?
